Firearms seasons in the Catskills ?

Are there any firearms hunting season currently open in the Catskills anywhere? Rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader? Not concerned for myself, but thinking about bring our dog.

Sat. Nov.19th Deer rifle season begins. That Monday Bear season starts.Not too much game in the hills this year. A bad Winter and lots of Coyotes did a number on the Deer. I wouldn't be surprised to see less hunters again this year.

Archery, small game and something for dog owners to be concerned about, trapping season, are now open. Not a big concern except in areas with roads such as Bearpen.

No firearms for bears or any muzzleloading open? Taking my pup on the Blackhead Range on Sunday.
