Took Flume trail to Franconia Ridge. Trail in good shape. Ridge trail in tip top shape. Early solitude on Liberty, with cool temps. Lots of folks on ridge trail especially on grand loop portion. Descended on Garfield Ridge trail in light rain. Very little mud on Ridge trail. Got an occasional view of pemi from top of Mt. Garfield but mostly sopped in. Met quite a few thru hikers around Garfield Area. Descended Via Mt. Garfield trail which is in good shape though eroded from all the rain. River crossings are fine, no problems. Great day. My third time this week going over Mt. Garfield.
