The trail to the base of flume slide had a few easy water crossings and denser vegetation than I expected, but not a problem at all. The slabs on Flume Slide were mostly dry with some puddles but the smoothness of the rock made it very slippery because my boots were wet. I stayed almost entirely on the rocks themselves, but there are side paths up through the woods around many of the slabs and I used one of them. A few sections of the ascent I could 'just barely' do safely due to the lack of handholds and probably should have gone around through the woods.
The walk over to Liberty and the descent from Liberty were both easy with dry, grippy rocks the entire time.
I think I saw mountaingirl on Flume just after 10am. She mentioned that she was headed over to Guyot and coming back tomorrow, but I didn't remember the post about that trip on vftt until after she'd headed on to Liberty.
