Flume Slide

Can someone who has been near Franconia Notch recently make a guess as to the condition of the Flume Slide this weekend (11/7)? I know that it can be tricky when wet, and ice would obviously worsen that situation. Is there much ice at that elevation currently?

i went up valley way trail thursday starts at 1300 feet. its farther north than flume but perhaps its similar. i have been up that trail several times and i would suggest you absolutely NOT try it this time of year. there was a moderate amount of ice on the trail where i was going up to madison hut.
