Nice trail. My first time on it. Free of snow and blowdowns. Nice to hike on a trail which is still mostly dirt rather than rocks and roots.
The heat and the bugs weren't really all that bad, and my group of twelve made the summit in just under 4 hours. Lolled about for a half hour and headed down. Decent views; not nearly as hazy as it might have been.
