OK, we had a week off and I promised my wife we wouldn't hike over 4000'. I didn't promise her we wouldn't hike every day, though. Of course I took more pictures than anyone in their right mind will want to look at and wrote my usual rambling reports about each hike. If I haven't scared you off by now, this is what we did:

Hope there's something here you're interested in. We had a lot of fun hiking these and I would highly suggest them all to anyone looking for an easy way to spend a morning or afternoon hiking something a little less taxing.

Cool

KJE -
Very nice - it is not all about 4ks (of course, three years ago you could never have convinced me of that!) Very nice spots and I like the types of pics you take. The Percy Peaks just made my "have to get there" list - but I really do not have a list! :)

Thanks!

The Percy's have become one of my favorite places in the mountains with just one visit. I am sorry I ignored them for ten years. I'd love to return in winter. Don't put them on your list, just go!

The percys are a bit more of a challenge in winter as the road was typically closed a few miles south of the trailhead. Even if you dont mind a roadwalk, you have to be carefull as it was a major snowmachine route. Its been a few years so things may have changed, but its worth checking thing out in advance!

I'm sure Nash Stream Road will be busy in the winter - I have a current SnoMoMap that shows that as a major trail. Also interesting to note: they can ride all the way to the top of Sugarloaf Mtn up there!! (Spectacular views from there, too!) I did the Percys a little over a month ago - bushwhacked over to them from the Longs. It was a blast!

Great pics, as usual, Kevin! Copple Crown is on my radar so I'll have to take a good look at your full report.
