Fox sculptures near Shannon Brook

Near Shannon Pond (Castle in the Clouds property) there are sculptures of a family of foxes, here is one:

They must have a history, does anyone know anything about them?

Can't be sure, but it looks like Anna Huntington's work; http://americanart.si.edu/collections/search/artwork/?id=10988
she lived near in Redding CT towards the end of her life, donated a lot of property and sculptures here around Bethel and Redding.
