My two sons, aged 9 and 7, and my father-in-law hiked the Little Haystack / Lincoln / Lafayette loop on Saturday. It was a perfect day -- not too cold, not too warm, very little wind, and clear blue skies. Did anyone else see the gliders hovering above Lafayette this weekend?
This hike was the finale of a neat project that my son, Evan, started back in January, when he decided to climb at least ten 4000-footers this year in an effort to help his school "Go Green!" He titled his project Summits for My School. We're quite proud of him.
