This my son Jayce's first time doing the loop. We finished in 5 hours. No rest for the weary. Conditions generally dry throughout and stream crossings along Falling Waters Trail easily negotiable. Made the summits with partly overcast skies then the clouds came in as we were leaving Lafayette. My first time in Greenleaf Hut as I've only done this hike in later fall and winter.
Recommended gear: Bring plenty of water although water is available at Greenleaf. Poles helped on the decent.
