Fri.-Sun., Feb 18-20. Poaching the Presies!
Some space is still available, we'd like to have a full house. We're
using a condo up in the Conway area as a base for Saturday and Sunday
tours. Snow conditions will dictate our final choices, but we're
looking at Avalanche Brook, the Wildcat ski tour, Sherbourne, and a
few others. Sunday might be a combination of two smaller tours. If
snow conditions are simply not suitable for backcountry skiing we
have the option of hiking or lift skiing.
Participants will need backcountry, telemark, or AT gear, skins will
likely be needed for some of the tours but extra pairs can be
located. Skiers need to have good backcountry skills and be in good
shape for a full day tour.
Costs will be in the $100 range for the weekend, with breakfasts,
lunch, and a Saturday dinner cooked in. Please contact me if
