Trails: Gale River Tr, Garfield Ridge Tr, Frost Tr, Garfield Tr, snowmobile trail, Gale River Loop Rd
Special Equipment: Waterproof Boots, Gaitors, Microsoikes (would be useful but not necessary)
Comments: First taste of winter on Sunday. There was a dusting of snow along Gale River Rd and up to 6 inches infront of the porch of Galehead Hut. The trails were in good shape with few blowdowns. The packed snow on the heavily used Garfield Tr was begining to freeze in the afternoon making some slick spots. Not much ice to speak of yet.
