Trail was in great shape, overall, with a dusting of snow increasing to a couple of inches higher up where there were also some minor icy sections. Crossings were mellow. We took care of two major blowdowns but had to leave one beast in the lower third.
Microspike ST's were ideal for the conditions and we wore them above 2500' or so.
It was a perfect day to do this peak, with nice conditions underfoot, wonderful light in the woods and, of course, the stunning summit view that went forever in all directions. Great to encounter Sarah, Michael and Matthias and hike together on the way down.
