Trail Conditions: Summer showed up with a vengeance. The trail was recently maintained - no blowdowns, water bars cleaned. Could use a bit of brushing at the lower elevations. Some mud, but no problems. Snow/ice on Garfield Ridge Trail below ledges, but not a real problem.
Special Equipment Required: Summer pack is OK.
