date: 2/25/08
conditions: packed trail as in previous posting, but a bit rough in parts with postholes, etc. a few blowdowns easily bypassed. water crossings solid. road walk packed hard. a bit of ice building in the first .5 or so of trail.
equipment: usual winter, snowshoes all the way.
comments: very warm and calm day. silent in the woods if not for the crunch of snowshoes. got to spend a fair amount of time on the summit taking in the view. the first time i have had that luxury this winter.
