Great day overall. A bit overcast at times but cleared up by mid afternoon. Mainly dry at trailhead until about 3000' when trail became snowy and muddy. above 3500' several feet of mushy snow except on the spine of the trail. Barebooted all the way though saw several people with snowshoes. Overall a wonderful day in the Adirondacks.
