We started out early following two hikers, caught and passed them before the Washbowl. Our group of seven broke trail, alternating the lead, to Giant and Rocky. Snow depths varied from a foot to much deeper in the snow drifts. The mostly clear skies gave us exceptional views but it was cold and windy so our stops were quick. The winds on Rocky were howling and we could only touch the top. On the way out, we had great sliding on our descent, often sitting and sliding for long stretches, a lot of fun.
