Got bored today and went over to goodnow in Newcomb to break in some new equipment. 3" of snow at the register 10" at the top. I used snowshoes all the way up and back just for traction; but it could be barebooted I over dressed and had to strip down about 10 minutes into the trip and was still overdressed. It was -15 yesterday and 30 today. Tomorrows high is going to be -1 so I was dressed for Sat. & Mon. Lots of wildlife out, deer turkies, and a fox. When I say turkies I mean the bird not redsox fans. Sorry had to throw that in. The trail has very little use I was only the second person to sign in since 12/5.
