Here is a good time waster that someone posted on gunks.com.

Google Map Pedometer

Not exactly the most accurate, but still a good toy to play with... Does not have trails, but if you are a runner or biker, still has some usefulness.

I found about that link a few weeks ago. It's great for planning running routes. As long as you're careful about precision when marking your routes, it's pretty accurate. I've compared the miles to the readings on my Forerunner GPS, and they've been pretty close.

Very cool! I just ran mapped out a cycling route that I do once a week... on my bike computer it comes out as 25.7 miles and the mapping software had it at 26, and I wasn't even being picky about placing the points.
