Goose Eye (NEHH)
Followed the standard route. Drove in to the trailhead via Success Pond Road out of Berlin. Drive 8.1 miles, and you'll come to an AMC sign for Goose Eye and Carlos Col.
Turn right onto this logging road, drive up a few feet and park.
The Goose Eye trail was very muddy and wet down low.
The description from the AMC White Mt. Guide was very accurate, except the very top was much more of a scramble than I had predicted.
There are five or more different alpine flowers blooming up there right now, and commanding views.
