Trail Conditions: a dusting of fresh powder over bare ground. Icy spots above treeline. Stream crossings a bit tricky due to icy rocks.
Equipment: there were spots where we could have, and perhaps should have, used light traction. But we picked our way through. Poles helpful for stream crossings.
Comments: great day to be out. First time on Goose Eye in a long time! We considered going over to Carlo, but that would have meant hiking out in the dark.
