Party of six staying a few days at Camp Peggy hiked via Orebed Brook trail to Gothics Saddleback col. Cables up Gothics are partially showing above snow. Little to no ice, just snow and bare rock. Only used crampons/ice axe for ~300 feet. Snow on the way to Armstrong was deep powder and trail was hard to find. Trail to UWJ easy to find. Hike down UWJ requires some caution due to deep snow, we slide most of the way down but needed to stay in control. Please keep in mind it has snowed considerably since we did the hike. I know one party did summit Saddleback the following day via Orebed Brook trail.
