So Zero-G and I were meeting at St Hubies at 8...Being that I'm always on time and he was late I took off w/o him and made him run like a dog to catch me..Which he did, just past BM Falls..Up.up.up to the Armstrong col with incredible views of Gothics and the basin below along the way..We chose Gothics first and climbed the ridge and cornice while staring into brilliant blue skies and blinding sun...The summit was spectacular of course w/ outstanding views...Some peaks were in clouds, but we had a good look all around..A first on Gothics for Ronnie...

Then were off back down and over to Armstrong where we met NJHiker and his crew...More nice views..Our original plan was Got/Arm..but Ronnie wanted more and somehow talked me into redoing the Wolfies...Steeeep icy decent from Armstrong and before we knew it we were on UWJ, on a day w/ almost identical conditions as last week when I was there...Over the bump and buttsliding down to the col. I waited for Ronnnie as he ran up and down LWJ..It gave me a reason to pull out all my survival gear and I took a quick snooze while a I waited..

Back he came and we were off---I had my slippery pants on and had one of the longest single buttslides ever...Awesome!!..

Darkness caught us on the way out...and we thought of our little buddies somewhere behind us...Another story for another day:rolleyes:

Great day..and great company..Thanks!!
