Hi all,

As a new user, I just thought I'd introduce myself. Had planned on waiting until spring to throw myself back into hiking, but couldn't wait.

If the good Lord wanted us to stay indoors in the winter, he wouldn't have given us nifty gear!

Looks like a great group here. Anyone in the North of Boston area looking to hike around for reasonable distance and moderate speed, please drop me a line. I've been stomping around the Middlesex Fells and Breakheart Reservations for winter practice, done a few small mountains, but am looking for something more substantial.

I found this site in Fall of 2003, and have been using the trail conditions section mostly (thanks all!). Been following the forums for a few months now, more so since the weather has been trying to keep me in.
