some fresh snow/slush in parkable lot. barebooted up thin base with some wet snow on top. increasing amounts of base the higher you go. only a few open streamlets. from top of ridge to summit there were increasing amounts of ice covered trees. very pretty. found about 20 people on summit (from one big group)! lugged my snowshoes up needlessly. wore stabilicers up, but not on the way down. never missed them on descent. hope this helps group that is scheduled to go up on 12/30.
