trails: hale brook trail
conditions: wet trail all the way. minor mud. removed some blowdown/leaners. one of note remains in the switchbacks. water crossings were easy rock hops.
equipment: nothing in particular.
comments: a good choice for a second hike on this wet/cool day. summit of hale was actually quite windy and not very hospitable. thanks to cynthia for a couple good ones.
