Parked at the end of Little River Rd. Some small patches of snow/ice on North Twin but 99% snow free (to FWT, that is). We didn't really hit any substantial snow until about halfway up Hale. The snow was rock solid and we used microspikes and never had to pull out the snowshoes. There was still good coverage all the way down to the end of Lend-a-hand. Crossings were more difficult than usual but I wouldn't say they were hard by the hut (crossings by the Bonds were only a tad elevated from summer levels but still were very easy). The snow softened a bit en route to Zeacliff but we didn't have any postholing troubles. Guyot was snow free except for some ice in the trail which we avoided. Bondcliff was bare ground from about 3/4 of the way down Bond to the edge of the woods by the 'Hillary Step'. We didn't get down to bare ground on the lower Bondcliff trail until we passed the last crossing. Muddy but pleasant walk out. Thanks Cory for a nice April hike complete with some nice sunburns!
