trails: hancock notch trail
conditions: trail was wet with traces of snow and some standing water to the cedar brook junction. a coating of wet snow on the way up to the notch with a couple muddy wallows in the usual places. cleaned and serviced all drainages and did a little brushing to get things ready for winter. brook crossings were all not a problem.
met some hikers who went to the hancocks and said there was a couple inches of snow on the trail and ice in the trees up high.
equipment: nothing in particular.
comments: nice final work trip of the year. cool and damp, but a good day for trail maintenance.
