The snow was deep
The trail was very hard to find, we reached the junction of North or South Hancock and there were some foot prints heading North, but nothing going South. So we headed North.
The trail was soon lost and we ended up climbing up the slide:
At the top the snow was so deep that at one point we were crawling under tree limbs.
The views were great:
And we eventually made it to the South Peak.
With equally good views:
We weren't the strongest hiking group, but with all the bush wacking we had to do with loosing the trail, the hike took us over 10 hours, we we had fun.
