To add to the other posts regarding the Hancocks. We were advised to ascend S. Hancock and descend N. Hancock because of the ice. Wise advice. Microspikes were used up the South peak and then across the ridge along mono rail. Descending the South facing N. Hancock proved to be almost completely dry; no traction needed. The ice up South Hancock is still thick in places and I would recommend to continue this loop counter-clockwise for the time being.
