Anyone been to the hancocks in the last 2 weeks, i'm anticipating low water on the many crossings, just like to confirm as my son is hiking with me and his nickname is short-stride!! Water crossings are always fun!! Thanks in advance. If anyone is looking to join up, you're more than welcome to, we're going sunday, hitting the trailhead around 9am.....ctsparrow

The Whites are VERY dry right now. I was on Sabbaday Brook trail the other day. Usually that trail is a pain because of the numerous crossings, the other day many of the crossings were a dry bed. I saw a hen merganser and a kingfisher on a stream that usually would not attract either but they probably don't have a lot of choices as dry as things have been.

You should have no problems with crossings.
