waz up y'all?
I am cooking up a nice long memorial day weekend trying to stay away from crowded campsites and finally whackin' to Hawthorn Falls. Since the recent posts has anyone been there? Any camping spots for two hikers and a tarp in the general area or is it too steep? We will be coming from gale river trail and also contining on up to the ridge, fully backtracking 2 days later after galehead.
any beta or warnings appreciated. I've been following the posts on the river crossings. also seems like maybe some crampons might be a good idea.
