Main trail from Garden well-broken up to junction with trail to Haystack, then totally unbroken thereafter. Good track now in place (except with new snow arriving, will be somewhat undone). Also some trailbreaking done on Shorey Short-cut and Range trail from Basin to Haystack Junction (although these parts not as well packed-in as the main trail).
Cliffs on far side of Little Haystack a little tricky - crampons recommended. Summit terrain in beautiful shape, although there is a layer of ice under all that pretty new snow.
Used snowshoes 99% of the time; crampons only needed on Little Haystack's cliff. All of the usual deep winter clothing gear, too.
