Conditions:
Microspikes from Garden to Range Trail Junction
MSRs over the bump between junction & Haystack trail
Crampons to Summit of Haystack
MSRs from Haystack trail to Basin, then over Shorey's
Microspikes from Slant Rock back to Garden
There is definitely enough snow up high for snowshoes to be the correct footwear (not to mention be required by the regulations)
