Trail Conditions: Well packed trail from Garden to JBL. 3"-6" of powder over firm base from JBL to Marcy-Haystack junction. Up to 2' of unconsolidated and windblown snow from junction to treeline. Ice and intermittent windblown snow on Little Haystack and Haystack.
Equipment: Snowshoes required. Crampons optional (our group of two used snowshoes all the way.
