Downes Brook Trailhead off Kanc to UNH Trail, clockwise loop.
Conditions: DRY; most trailheads dried up.
About a mile in on UNH trail, trail seemed to end; stay straight, you'll see where brush is piled up in gully at left; follow to right of this. You will see a blue blaze and then the yellow blazes continue. A few blowdowns, on downward trail there is a "taped-off" section to avoid a widowmaker.
Bugs: not bad if you're moving.
