It was one hell of a hike. about ten miles total. Me and a buddy went up on sat 5-17-08. we went up Crawford path the hole way to the top of peirce did not take the mizpah cut off. the trail was nice and easy going until about 3500 feet then the snow got deep and soft. i am 6'5'' and fell in up to my waist multiple times. Gaiters and poles a must! i did not have my poles but wished i did. Ridge above tree line over to Eisenhower was nice. snow in the shaded areas but clear other wise. Edmands path tough the first 1/2 mile down with deep snow and steep terrain. after the snow was gone it was easy hiking. then we walked 2.2 mile back on the road to the car.

suggested gear- gators, poles and prepare for above tree line weather.
