early start - bit icy on the lonesome lakes trail
conditions: after split off from lonesome lakes trail packed snow with one or two minor ice bulges, I used the crampons but really didn't need em... higher up packed snow... later in day ( with WARM sun) on the ridge and descent snow was very soft - postholing pretty bad on ridge as I just had boots & crampons. It would have been nice to have snowshoes, but I was able to glissade down no problem
