Memory failure!!

I have found some photos I took of high water on April 17 last year and am curious, was it after heavy rain or merely hot weather and snow melt? Here is one photo:

If that is the old covered bridge site in Woodstock the water isn't particularly high...

Unfortunately, as the stock brokers would say "Past performance is no indicator of future results!"

This has been an odd-ball winter, so it could be that Spring makes its own rules.
