"An injured hiker was rescued from Mount Washington.
Authorities said Thursday afternoon, 46-year-old Rich Francoeur, of Newton, slid about 15 feet down a rock face on the Tuckerman Ravine Trail and hurt his knee.
Emergency officials, including an Army National Guard Blackhawk helicopter, were called in to rescue Francoeur after he called for help.
He was taken to the bottom of Mount Washington in Pinkham Notch, before he was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Berlin."

Despite the recent trail work, there are still some tricky spots. I believe this happed just below where the work was done last summer.
