I'm not sure if there have been any posts on VFTT about this, but I thought I would link to a post on Rocksontop since many people on this board know her. HikerAmiga broke her leg pretty badly on a hike in Baxter State Park this past weekend. She's doing ok but needed surgery on her leg and will need another surgery in about 1 week. She explains it all on the second page of the post I linked to above.
