hiking opportunities near Hawkeye?

I am helping put a roof on a friend's camp near Hawkeye this weekend and want to sneak in a hike.

Does anyone have any info on Alder Brook Mountain/Tolman which are a couple of minor mountains in the vicinity.

Is there any suggestion for a nice moderate hike in the area?
