If you have time, the former Brown Company Photo Collection is being scanned by Plymouth State and are at this web sitehttp://beyondbrownpaper.plymouth.edu/

Brown Company developed the original base paper for Kodak Brownie cameras and over the years continued supplying high brightness for photos. The company had an inhouse photographer who documented from trees out in the woods to the final product. The collection was in excess of 10,000 photographs and usually were taken with large format film stock so the resolution is usually excellent (unfortunately I am not sure what resolution Plymouth is using).

They are sorted by subject, but it takes time to go through them.

One of my friends ended up with large format photo taken by the photographer at the original Inferno races.

Real cool! Thanks. Those were tough guys back then. It's quite amazing how they got so many logs down such small brooks. Even with dam releases it was an arduous task.
