Horror / Vandalism on Cliff Mt.!

Two of my friends climbed Cliff and Redfield a couple of days ago and found spray paint on trees and rocks continuously from the Redfield/Cliff intersection to summit of Cliff. Thankfully none was visible along the Redfield path.
First were Cliff and Redfield names on large logs (sitting on the ground) spelled in huge block letters which were easily removed out sight, then were the 100 or so dots, arrows and splashes disfiguring the path all the way to the summit of Cliff, with the ledges offering the worst of the “art work”!
Needless to say my two friends were as appalled as saddened by this vandalism.

The worst part is that the vandals probably thought they were being helpful. Bring back the scarlet letters for these people!

And they didn't give themselves away by signing in? I recall a similar fiasco where the perpetrators bragged proudly.

According to this thread it appears someone has been "helpful" on the Herbert Brook path to Marshall, as well.
