I went from the Works through Avalanche Pass towards the Loj, then looped back over Algonquin. I had to break trail through deep powder/minimal windswept ice from the gully on the backside of Algonquin to the summit of Iroquois, but it was easy going and the base was firm enough to keep me out of pine traps. The descent from the backside of Algonquin to Lake Colden was well broken out, and had been used by at least a half dozen people.
