Is the Sawyer River Rd parking lot a fee area?

I simply can't remember if folks have to pay to park there or not. For some reason, I don't think people have to, but I explain why that would be.

I figured someone here would know the answer to this question.

The parking for Carrigan on Sawyer River Road was not a fee area last year. It lack required amenities plus is inconvenient for the FS to patrol. The FS tends to only enforce highly popular lots (most AMC huts lots) and lots that are easy to access like the ones on the Kanc. They do (or did) aggressively enforce the Welch Dickey lot

It includes the Sawyer Pond trailhead on the Kanc, but not Sawyer River Road (unless I missed something).

Sawyer River Rd = No fee. I was there last month.

Maybe it’s in that list, I don’t see it, but the supposed picnic area — more like two outhouses — between Gale River Road and Haystack Road is a fee area, too.
