Just read Jason B's thread from yesterday so not sure if the trail is the actual bushwhack or the one they started. RBT to height of land was consolidated and we used microspikes. Put on snowshoes at the start of bushwhack and stayed in them the rest of the day. We followed what appeared to be one set of tracks for the bushwhack and we (3) broke it out to more of a trail. Not sure of the route as we had no gps but the trail is open. Others followed later so fairly well consolidated except for the postholes from a couple of others. Isolation trail is also postholed as the snow was deeper on this trail. Quite a few snowshoes on it but still lumpy. Water crossings were ok. The bypass was broken by a postholer but you can still get by. The other crossing was bridged....until you guessed it a postholer put a big hole in it. You can still get by ok. Weather on top wasn't bad. Saw no one until about 1/2 way back on Davis Path toward junction than saw lots of people. 4 dogs.
Great day out.
