Trail conditions: The trail is in great condition. Up to the cliffs, someone has even raked most of the leaves out of the trail. A little ice where water runs over the trail but not much. Just enough to make the descent challenging. The trail between Webster and Jackson is mostly ice. Due to the numerous bare rock climbing sections throughout I chose to not wear traction devices. No snow to speak of.
Special equipment: Poles helpful for icy sections, but a burden on the steep rock sheet ascents and descents. Traction would be worth having for the section between Webster and Jackson, but you would probably have to keep removing it for the rocky climb sections.
