Date of Hike: Sunday, February 23rd
Trails: Webster-Jackson Trail / Mount Willard Trail
Trail Conditions / Comments: Until the next storm both trails are a well packed down highway. Microspikes are fine unless you step off the trail, then you sink. Upper ledges of Mount Jackson were easy to get up with styrofoam snow cover. Nice Sunday morning hikes in Crawford Notch with Alton and Cole the fancy pants panda bear. Great to run into Kat and Murphy Wonderdog on Jackson, too! Report / Pics
For anyone new who wants to get a feel for winter hiking go head up to Mount Willard, it's very easy, you can test out your gear, clothing, etc., and has great views.
