Trail Conditions: Mostly dry. The herd path to Big Jay has a couple muddy sections where you might leave a shoe if you're not careful; however, there's nothing that can't be bypassed with a little work.
Special Equipment Required: None.
Comments: I started in the fog and summited in an undercast which was cool and is something I don't see very often. It all blew off by the time I got to Big Jay though. My first time on Jay Peak and Big Jay. Both great peaks. I'll bring my snowboard back this winter to sample some of the great looking back country.
