This herdpath leads to a favorite ridge with lovely views and rock. Trail was in very good shape, almost dry except the one usual wet spot before the main ascent. Blowdown from last year has been cleared and it is easy to follow the herd path to the west end of the ridge, then follow cairns along the ridge for many, many views. The herdpath near the summit is somewhat grown in (eat your way through the raspberries) and some of the ridge walking is through grown in brush. Reaching the "final" view point one sees a slightly higher point with a cairn. A slight herd path leads there. To get to the Geo markers on the east side of the east end is tricker and not as well marked with path or cairn. Path was quiet, I passed no one.
